'Boys' Settlement Due
Lana Tisdel, the ex-girlfriend of murder victim Teena Brandon portrayed in the movie "Boys Don't Cry," is attempting to reach a settlement in her invasion-of-privacy lawsuit against the film's distributor, Fox Searchlight. She claimed that the film shows several inaccuracies. Fox Searchlight has already settled a claim by author Aphrodite Jones, who wrote of the homicide.
