'50s and '60s TV second banana Durward Kirby, 88, who shared the spotlight with Garry Moore (on Moore's variety show) and with Allen Funt on "Candid Camera," has died in a Tampa, Fla., hospital. Mad magazine used to love to lampoon him, calling the tall, cigarette-puffing Kirby the quintessential square.
