Dr. Laura Bash Bashed
A fund-raising birthday bash in Michigan for controversial radio personality Dr. Laura Schlessinger has been canceled in order to avoid an expected clash with gay rights activists. (On the air Schlessinger called homosexuality a "biological error" and "deviant.") The event, scheduled for April 15, was to benefit Detroit's Children's Center. About 800 tickets at $76 each had been sold.
