Orbach Sues eBay
"Law & Order" star Jerry Orbach, 64, is in court for real. On Monday the actor sued eBay in a Manhattan federal court for displaying his Social Security number on the Web. Orbach's suit alleges that the online auction site posted the confidential information last week in connection with the sale of two of his contracts from 1958, and has therefore exposed Orbach to "identity theft," among other charges. A monetary figure has yet to be set in the action.
