Think your local hit at the local pump is too high? Consider the Texaco station in Carmel Valley, Calif., where gas is currently $2.05 per gallon (for premium) and $1.85 (regular). Fuel prices in Northern California are considered to be the highest in the nation. Still, that's a relative bargain compared to what it costs to fill 'er up in Hong Kong: $5.40 a gallon. Talk about putting a tiger in your tank.
