Babs, Brolin Prevail
Barbra Streisand and James Brolin have won approval to erect a 5,900-square-foot, barn-like house in place of one of three existing homes on their three-acre Malibu compound. Neighbors had opposed construction, saying the Brolins were contributing to the "mansionization of Malibu." The new structure will reportedly house Streisand's memorabilia.
