Linda McCartney's Ex-Husband Dies

Joseph Melville See Jr., 62, the first husband of Linda McCartney, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound on Sunday in Tucson, Ariz., the Associated Press reports. A retired geologist, See was married to Linda from 1962 to 1965 and was the biological father of Heather McCartney, whom Paul adopted after he married Linda in 1969. He lived in Tucson, where he and Linda both attended the University of Arizona in the 1960s.
