Bullock's Mom Dies
Sandra Bullock's mother, Helga Bullock, 63, an opera singer who was born in Germany, has died. Sandra began her own professional career as an extra in her mom's operas both in the U.S. and in Europe. (The actress's dad is John Bullock, a voice coach.) Sandra, 35, will not attend tonight's L.A. premiere of her latest movie, "28 Days."
