Q-Tip's 'Not Guilty' Plea
Rapper Q-Tip, who founded the now-defunct band A Tribe Called Quest, pleaded not guilty in a Manhattan court Monday to third-degree assault charges that he broke the jaw of aspiring rapper Kenrick Miranda at a Times Square music store on March 15. Released without bail, Q-Tip (real name: Kamaal Fareed), 29, is due back before the judge on May 25.
