Two Hollywood veterans, actor Walter Matthau, 79, and writer-director Billy Wilder, 93, are both in an undisclosed hospital in Los Angeles, being treated for different maladies, reports Variety columnist Army Archerd. Matthau has been well enough to pay occasional visits down the corridor to Wilder, for whom the actor starred in his Oscar-winning role, in 1966's "The Fortune Cookie."
