'Hercules' Star Dies
Steve Reeves, 74, a Mr. Universe bodybuilder who starred in a string of beefcake "Hercules" movies in the '50s and '60s, died in Southern California on Monday of complications from lymphoma. All told, Reeves starred in 18 movies -- most of them produced in Europe -- before he retired from the screen in 1969.
