Douglas Fairbanks, Jr., 90, a prince of Hollywood (his father, Douglas Fairbanks, and his stepmom, Mary Pickford, were the silent-era's king and queen), died in a New York hospital Sunday. Though never the star his father was, the younger Doug Jr. cut a dashing figure both on screen (especially in 1939's "Gunga Din") and off. Of his three marriages, his first, at age 19, was to Joan Crawford.
