Baldwin Loses Lawsuit

Alec Baldwin must pay $4,500 to celebrity photographer Alan Zanger, who was beaten up by Baldwin in 1995, when Zanger snapped the actor with his wife, Kim Basinger, and their newborn daughter, Ireland. Baldwin (who sprayed Zanger truck with shaving cream and broke the photog's eyeglasses and nose) was acquitted of misdemeanor battery charges in the case and won an invasion of privacy suit against Zanger, though Zanger won a case against Baldwin for damages. This week the California Supreme Court said it agreed with a lower court's opinion, so Baldwin must pay.
