Pete Sampras, 28, made tennis history Sunday with a four-set victory over Australia's Patrick Rafter, 6-7 (10), 7-6 (5), 6-4, 6-2. The win marked Sampras's seventh Wimbledon title and record-breaking 13th Grand Slam championship. On Saturday, Venus Williams, 20, took the women's championship, defeating defending champ Lindsay Davenport 6-3, 7-6 (3). It was her first Grand Slam Crown, and she celebrated afterward with her father, Richard Williams, and sister, Serena (whom she defeated in the semi-finals).
