Depardieu Under the Knife
Robust French film star Gerard Depardieu, 51, suffering from chest pains, underwent heart surgery in a hospital near Paris on Monday, his agent said Tuesday. "There was no emergency," the rep said. Depardieu, best known for the 1985 "Jean de Florette," will next be seen in Disney's "102 Dalmatians" this Thanksgiving.
