Ryder Reveals Roots

Winona Ryder has bared her soul. Actually, she's bared her roots. The raven-haired actress, 29, is really a blonde. "When I auditioned for (the 1986 movie) 'Lucas,' my hair was black and they wanted to keep it," she told Harper's Bazaar magazine. And it's pretty much been that way ever since. Next, Ryder will be seen with Richard Gere, 50, in "Autumn in New York." He started out brunette but is now pretty gray.
