Web Win for Hendrix Family
In a big win against cybersquatters everywhere, the family of late rock legend Jimi Hendrix won the right to the Internet domain name jimihendrix.com on Monday. A U.N. arbitrator ruled in favor of Experience Hendrix, a Washington-based group run by the guitarist's half-sister Janie L. Hendrix, reports the Associated Press. Experience Hendrix owns the rights to the Jimi Hendrix name and had made a case against Denny Hammerton, who had previously registered the domain name.
