French film star Gerard Depardieu, 51, was released from a hospital in Paris on Monday after undergoing heart bypass surgery earlier this month, his agent announced Wednesday. The actor, who's known on several continents not only for his film roles but for his spirited living, plans to resume his work schedule in the latter half of August after resting up at home, the agent added.
