Although early studio estimates placed the Clint Eastwood astronaut adventure "Space Cowboys" evenly matched with the Kevin Bacon thriller "Hollow Man" in last weekend's box office race, in the final tally it was Bacon who, well, brought home the bacon. "Hollow Man" took in $13.05 million, while "Cowboys" made $13.02 million. Overall, the two week-old movies have each brought in a very nice $50.3 million ("Hollow Man") and $39 million ("Space Cowboys"), according to Exhibitor Relations Co. Inc., which tracks these stats.
