Gore's Son: Speeding Ticket
Albert Gore III, 17, the son of the Presidential candidate, was arrested and charged by the North Carolina Highway Patrol on Aug. 12 with speeding at 97 mph in a 55 mph zone and reckless driving, said the NCHP. A spokeswoman for Tipper Gore, mother of the accused, said over the weekend that the teen was alone in the car and heading home to Washington after a family vacation. Authorities added that young Gore was completely cooperative at the time of his arrest, while the family spokesperson told the Associated Press, "The Gores are dealing with this as a family matter."
