"The Best Man" and "Big Momma's House" actor Terrence Howard spent Thursday night behind bars in Cleveland for allegedly assaulting a flight attendant on a Toronto-to-Cleveland Continental Airlines trip. According to reports, Howard grabbed the arm of the flight attendant as she attempted to return him to his seat while the seat belt light was on. Upon landing, Howard was arrested, but the charge was later dismissed when the local prosecutor said he lacked jurisdiction. All aviation matters fall to the FBI, which is now investigating the incident. USA Today, meanwhile, quotes Howard this morning as saying that he was simply trying to take his daughter to the bathroom.
