Thursday November 06, 1997 12:00 AM EST

Cowgirl Dale Evans, the widow of Roy Rogers, 87, was inducted into the Texas Country Music Hall of Fame over the weekend. Previous inductees include Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings. Evans, who last year had a new heart pacemaker installed, did not attend the ceremony because of ill health, but she'll always be remembered for singing -- with Roy, who died in 1998 -- "Happy Trails to You."
