"Dallas" and "I Dream of Jeannie" star Larry Hagman, 68, joined some fellow opponents of pesticides yesterday to push for heat treatment to kill bugs in California schools. Attending a demonstration in Sacramento (the California state capitol) of how such a treatment works, Hagman watched as the walls of a building were blasted with 130-degree air, reports the Associated Press. As cockroaches and other varmints scattered, Hagman likened the procedure to pasteurizing milk. "It's an old process that has been rejuvenated," he said.
