On Thursday in Los Angeles, a county grand jury indicted dock worker Anthony Hart in connection with the March theft of 55 Academy Awards statuettes, reports the Associated Press. Hart had previously been arrested but was then released due to a lack of evidence. (At the time he pleaded innocent.) Hart is the second person to face charges relating to the missing Oscars. In June, former Roadway Express trucker Lawrence Ledent, who pleaded no contest to grand theft, was sentenced to a six-month jail term that is to begin in December.
