Elizabeth Taylor, 68, is coming again to a toy store near you. This Friday, Mettel is releasing its second in a series of Taylor dolls. Last spring, she appeared in her "Cleopatra" garb, based on her 1963 movie spectacular. This time she's wearing a semi-sheer, sleeveless chiffon violet gown (to match her eyes) with a genuine crystal drop necklace. The figurine looks a lot like Taylor's character Gloria Wondrous from her Oscar-winning 1960 drama "Butterfield 8," based on the John O'Hara novel. Perhaps Mattel -- which has also produced Lucille Ball, Elvis Presley and Audrey Hepburn dolls -- isn't pointing out the "Butterfield 8" connection because Gloria was a callgirl.
