Britain's Prince Edward, 36, will be honored with Boston University's Bette Davis Special Achievement Award on Sept. 18 for his work as a TV producer, reports the Associated Press. His TV credits include a production about his great-uncle Edward VIII (who gave up the throne in order to marry the American divorcee Wallis Simpson) and "Annie's Bar" (a series about legislators in Britain's House of Commons). Two years ago, Meryl Streep was the first recipient of the award, which was created by Bette Davis's son, Michael Merrill, as a way to honor excellence in the entertainment industry.
