Babies for Matlin and Pacino

Oscar-winning actress Marlee Matlin ("Children of a Lesser God"), 35, who guest-starred as political consultant Joey Lucas on "The West Wing" last season, gave birth to a boy on Tuesday, at an undisclosed hospital, said her publicist. The father is her husband of seven years, policeman Kevin Grandalski, with whom she already has a daughter, Sarah Rose, 4 . . . Oscar winner Al Pacino ("Scent of a Woman"), 60, and Beverly D'Angelo (the "National Lampoon" movies), 48, are expecting twins, due later this year, say reports. This will be her first time as a mother. Pacino, who has never been married, has a daughter, Julie Marie, 11, with acting teacher Jan Tarrant. D'Angelo was married to Italian Duke Lorenzo Salviati from 1981 to 1992.
