Trix Bunny Illustrator Dies

Commercial artist George Karn, 72, who was responsible for drawing the original Trix cereal bunny and Count Chocula, died on Sunday in Minnesota of heart problems, reports the Associated Press. As a children's book illustrator, Karn's work included "The Littlest Goalie" and "The Flying Hockey Stick." His cereal box gigs began in 1957, when he freelanced for General Mills.
