Jane to Liz Hurley: Sorry

Elizabeth Hurley, 35, has received an apology from Jane magazine which, in its October issue, publishes a retraction to a July cover story that quoted the actress/model as saying that her former lover Hugh Grant was a bore in bed. The publication now says that a taped transcript of the interview "contains no derogatory statements by Ms. Hurley about Mr. Grant or her relationship with him. Jane magazine apologizes to Ms. Hurley for any distress our article may have caused." In a letter to the editor of Jane, Hurley wrote: "Hugh and I are bitterly disappointed. Journalism has reached a new low."
