A new U.S. Postal Service stamp featuring Snoopy is to be unveiled Sept. 30 at Minnesota's Mall of America as part of a weekend celebration of the 50th anniversary of Charles M. Schulz's "Peanuts" cartoon strip, reports the Associated Press. The 34-cent stamp, which is expected to go on sale next spring (when postal rates are expected to climb a penny per letter), will feature the beloved beagle as the World War I Flying Ace atop his doghouse, according to a post office spokesman.
