Matchbox Twenty Guitar Theft

It was a musician's nightmare come true when Matchbox Twenty guitarist Adam Gaynor's favorite guitar was stolen, according to the Associated Press. The theft of the customized Taylor acoustic-electric guitar (reportedly worth more than $3,300) occurred after a performance on Sept. 18 in Gainesville, Fla. "Something that was really important to me has been taken. It's just killing me," Gaynor, 36, told the Associated Press. The band is offering an undisclosed award for the return of the guitar, which is described as "translucent green with brass hardware and a smooth cutaway design."
