Streisand: How Much Is Enough?

Tickets for Barbra Streisand's farewell performance tonight at New York's cavernous Madison Square Garden are reportedly being scalped for as much as $8,000 each, claims the New York Post. The rival paper, the Daily News, however, insists that the top ticket (which is officially priced at $2,500, though dinner is included) could still be had yesterday for as little as $1,200. As for who's getting in for free, the News says that the guest list includes Lauren Bacall, Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, Sarah Jessica Parker, Tony Bennett, Regis Philbin and Alec Baldwin. No word on whether or not they get dinner, too.
