Former Watergate security guard Frank Wills, who made a fateful discovery the night he was on duty in 1972 (when members of the committee to re-elect then-President Richard Nixon broke into the Democratic National Committee's offices inside the Washington D.C. hotel complex), has died in Augusta, Ga. Family friends told the local paper there that the 52-year-old had been suffering with a brain tumor. Wills's discovery ultimately brought down the Nixon administration, and he played himself in the 1976 movie about Watergate, "All the President's Men."
