Styx Stuck with Suit
Styx founding member Dennis DeYoung has sued his former bandmates in Chicago's Federal District Court for allegedly violating a contract and hitting the road without him, reports the Associated Press. DeYoung, who reportedly suffers from chronic fatigue syndrome, claims that the current partnership agreement between the band members (Tommy Shaw, James Young, Chuck Panozzo and Panozzo's brother, John, who died in 1996) required all five to concur on matters concerning the band and the Styx trademark. "Now they have taken the band's name and excluded me from the decision-making process," said DeYoung. Band members, who are on tour in Canada, reportedly had no comment.
