Hutton Surgery Today

Lauren Hutton, 56, will undergo leg surgery today following the multiple fractures that she suffered in a motorcycle crash during a celebrity ride in Las Vegas on Saturday. "Her whole right side took the hit," a spokeswoman for Las Vegas's University Medical Center said yesterday. The model-actress, who remains in serious condition, also incurred a concussion, a broken right wrist, a fractured sternum and multiple cuts and bruises, the spokeswoman said. Hutton took her nasty spill off a rode near Lake Mead during a 100-mile celebrity ride that began at the Venetian resort in the Nevada gaming playground. The National Park Service has said that she was wearing a protective helmet.
