Ms. Magazine founder and recent bride Gloria Steinem, 66, donated her papers to her alma mater (class of 1956), Smith College in Northampton, Mass., over the weekend, at a ceremony that honored her and other 20th century feminists, reports the Associated Press. Steinem said she thought that the memorabilia (about 300 boxes that date back to 1940) will help erase some misconceptions surrounding her and the Women's Movement.
