Carson Daly: Tying the Knot

MTV's "Total Request Live" host Carson Daly, 27, got engaged in New York last Sunday to actress Tara Reid, 24, reports USA Today. The couple met on the set of MTV's "Spring Break" in March, following Daly's break-up with Jennifer Love Hewitt in 1999. And Daly told PEOPLE they've been inseparable ever since. That is not to say he didn't have doubts initially. "I swore I would never date another actress," he said. "I can't handle the drama and the games!" Reid, best known for her role as "Vicky" in the film "American Pie," told PEOPLE earlier this year that she's "never felt so happy and excited. (Daly's) humorous and sarcastic but has the greatest soul. And he's like a dog, he's so loyal." So far, Daly and Reid are keeping the wedding details to themselves.
