Dennis Hopper Meets Santa
"Easy Rider" auteur Dennis Hopper, 64, is about to take a different kind of ride down Hollywood Blvd. -- as leader of this year's 69th annual Hollywood Christmas Parade, on Sunday, Nov. 26. "It's an honor to be grand marshal and to share this wonderful opportunity with my 10-year-old son, Henry," the actor said in a statement. "This is a great time of year to give thanks and look forward to Christmas and Hanukkah." "Malcolm in the Middle" star, Frankie Muniz, will serve as junior grand marshal, and other parade participants include comic Sid Caesar, actor Mickey Rooney, radio and TV host Casey Kasem and Santa Claus, who, contrary to reports, is not represented by William Morris.
