Latin pop diva Christina Aguilera, 18, called off her Mexico City concerts this weekend after she checked in with doctors and sought attention to a throat infection, according to her producers. "The doctors have strictly prohibited her from engaging in any activities so that her health is not put at risk," her record company, BMG Ariola, said in a statement. She has been ordered to rest and the "Genie in a Bottle" singer reportedly returned to the U.S. on Friday. Her Mexico City concerts have been postponed until further notice, BMG added.
