"Edward Scissorhands" and "Sleepy Hollow" auteur Tim Burton has accused a man, David Bontempo, of stealing a box containing sketches, drawings and paintings from the storage area of a Los Angeles apartment complex Burton owned in 1991. The Associated Press, citing court papers, reports that Burton received a letter in which Bontempo "admitted that he was in possession of 48 pieces of the stolen artwork" and had "made certain arrangements to auction the stolen artwork in his possession at Christie's in New York." There has been no comment from either man regarding Burton's lawsuit.
