Surgery Finds Andy Hardy

Veteran Hollywood star Mickey Rooney ("Love Finds Andy Hardy," "The Black Stallion"), 80, underwent multiple bypass heart surgery for a blocked artery yesterday afternoon at Los Robles Regional Medical Center in Ventura Count, reports Variety. In preparation for the surgery, says the trade paper, the indefatigable performer (who's been married eight times, though his current marriage has so far lasted 22 years), vowed that he and his wife Jan would return to the road in February with their live show, "One Man, One Wife."
