Thieves in Buenos Aires raided Sting's dressing room on Tuesday while he was running a pre-concert sound check and made off with a bag of his "personal effects," police in the Argentine capital told Reuters. Among these effects was said to be the award for human rights that the musician, 49, picked up only last week. Despite the setback, Sting went ahead with the concert, performing for some 26,000 people at the Velez Soccer Stadium. Police, meanwhile, are saying that they intend to heighten security at the stadium in time for next week's appearance by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
