Don't look for a repeat of last year's Oscar woes in view of the statuette snatching. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences announced yesterday that it has a back-up plan: Organizers are storing a spare set of the golden trophies just in case thieves get their hands on the latest shipment before this year's March 25 ceremony. (Last year, 55 Oscars were lifted in mid-shipment, though they were later recovered.) "We plan to always have enough to be one year ahead," academy spokesman John Pavlik told the Associated Press. "I don't think it'll happen again, but you never know," he said, adding, "I couldn't believe what happened last year."
