Princess Margaret, 70, younger sister of Queen Elizabeth II, may have suffered a minor stroke, Buckingham Palace said yesterday. "Evaluation of a range of test results by Princess Margaret's doctors, conducted against the background of her previous stroke in February 1998, has suggested that Princess Margaret may recently have had a further minor stroke or be suffering from the follow-on effects of the earlier event," said the statement. Her life, the palace added, is not in danger and she is said to be undergoing medical tests at the royal family's Sandringham estate, rather than in a hospital.
