Divorce No. 4 For Farentino

Actor James Farentino, 62, filed for divorce this week from his wife of six years, Stella Farentino, citing irreconcilable differences, reports the Associated Press. In 1998, Stella had filed for a divorce, also citing irreconcilable differences, but that petition was subsequently withdrawn. This is Farentino's fourth marriage to end in divorce. His previous wives were actresses Elizabeth Ashley, Michelle Lee and Deborah Mullowney. In addition, reports the AP, in March 1994, the actor (who had a recurring role as George Clooney's dad on "ER") was placed on probation and ordered to undergo psychological counseling after pleading no contest to stalking his ex-girlfriend, Tina Sinatra, daughter of Frank.
