"Crocodile Hunter" TV host Steve Irwin became the hunted this week, when a six-foot, 13-year-old female salt water croc took a bite out of him, reports the Associated Press. He required 12 stitches. (Irwin, that is, not the reptile.) The incident reportedly occurred as Irwin attempted to transfer the croc, whose name was not revealed, to another enclosure at his Australia Zoo, which is located about 60 miles north of Brisbane. Irwin referred to the bite as "an occupational hazard."
