Harry Potter Banned Down Under
Are you sure they're ready for the "Survivor" sequel? A private Christian school in Brisbane, Australia, has banned J.K. Rowling's popular Harry Potter children's books from its library, saying they are violent and dangerous. Or so said Dr. Chas Gullo, of the Christian Outreach College. Gullo explained to Brisbane's Courier-Mail newspaper that he read all of one chapter of "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" before reaching his decision. He said the chapter contained four murders. "It was pretty gory," he added. So far, no comment from Rowling.
