Three-time Wimbledon champion Boris Becker has confirmed his relationship with a German pop star, less than two months after filing for divorce from his wife of seven years, according to the Bild (German) newspaper. When a reporter confronted the tennis ace at a New York hotel where he was staying with rapper Sabrina Setlur, Becker confirmed he has been involved with her but denied reports that she is pregnant. "Our relationship is a young plant that must be fed," he said, adding that his marriage already was on the rocks before he met Setlur. "I am a grown-up man. I am separated and single. Sabrina is also single. We aren't doing anything forbidden. Should we book separate hotels and at night sneak over to each other?" Becker's split from his wife Barbara has been particularly messy, because it has involved their two children, Noah, 6, and Elias, 1. In December, Becker asked Germany's highest court to order her to bring the children back to that country from Miami, where the estranged couple had a home. U.S. courts do not recognize German law, so legal experts said Becker would have to persuade an American judge to enforce any such order.
