The group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals dropped its $350,000 defamation lawsuit against Rosie O'Donnell after the talk show host clarified on Thursday's show some comments she had made earlier about PETA's opposition to leather. The group had allegedly been angered by Rosie's saying on a show last year that certain types of leather pants sold at the Gap were PETA-approved, reports the Associated Press. On Thursday, Rosie said on the air, "PETA feels no one needs to wear any leather apparel at all."
