Grammy winning "Moesha" star Brandy, 22, will join First Lady Laura Bush on Wednesday in saluting young female volunteers at the Seventeen/Cover Girl Volunteerism Awards, reports The Washington Post. Brandy (whose last name is Norwood) helped found the Norwood Kids Foundation in 1997. "It provides singing, dancing and acting activities for disadvantaged children in Los Angeles and also in Mississippi," she said. As for hobnobbing with politicos, "I've never met Laura Bush before," Brandy told The Post.
